Julie Hergenrather, PhD,
Director
Julie Hergenrather, PhD, Director, Clinical Psychologist.Dr. Hergenrather received her PhD in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and completed her residency at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. She is a Partner at Montana Neurobehavioral Specialists, and has developed the Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy as an affiliate of that organization. The only psychologist in the State of Montana certified by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, Dr. Hergenrather has been involved in educational activities throughout the state, presenting invited addresses about the Cognitive Behavior model of psychotherapy to the Neurosciences Institute, Minerva Society, Institute for Medicine and the Humanities, Salish Kootenai College, and the Brain Injury Association of Montana, among others. A practicing psychologist for 20 years, she specializes in the treatment of mood, anxiety and behavior disorders, as well as psychological concerns of the medically ill.

Alison Cobb, PhD, Licensed Psychologist. Dr. Cobb received her doctorate in psychology from the University of Montana, and completed an internship at the Albuquerque VA Medical Center. Specializing in the practice of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dr. Cobb provides care for a wide range of psychological disorders including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, problems with adjustment, and relationship problems. Individuals and couples are welcome.

Greg Shanks, MA,

Greg Shanks, MA, Counselor.
Greg received his master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Montana, interning at Western Montana Mental Health Center, Guardian Oncology and Center for Wellness and Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Montana. Specializing in the practice of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Greg provides individual counseling for a range of life transitions and mental health issues including living with serious illness, geriatric mental health, bereavement, depression and anxiety.
